During this week, the Ibijoke Children Foundation UK continued to make a positive difference within the community through a range of support services

2. Key Outcomes

In 2010, a group of friends came together with a • Improved Mental Wellbeing: Families and individuals shared that access to our food

support helped reduce stress and anxiety, contributing positively to their mental health.

• Financial Relief: Many beneficiaries reported saving money on grocery shopping,

especially on cultural food items and essential groceries.

• Food Security: Regular access to food supplies has helped households feel more secure

and stable during challenging times.

3. Feedback from those we supported highlighted several outcomes:

  • Reduced expenditure on food shopping
  • Improved mental health and wellbeing
  • Better household budgeting
  • Reduced anxiety due to our open and welcoming service, which does not require appointments
  • Appreciation for our staff and volunteers, who are always ready to listen and make people feel valued


These results reflect the ongoing impact of our inclusive, person-centred approach in strengthening community wellbeing and resilience

4. Next Steps / Goals

• Continue to expand access to culturally appropriate food options.

• Strengthen the emergency bank to reach more vulnerable families.

• Partner with more local organizations to enhance support services.
